Ndidi's Future Uncertain as Al-Ittihad Table €10.5m Bid

The transfer saga involving Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has taken a new turn, with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad submitting a substantial bid to acquire his services from Turkish club Beşiktaş. According to reports from Turkish media outlet Milliyet, the offer from Al-Ittihad is valued at €10.5 million, with the possibility of increasing to €12.5 million should certain performance-related conditions be met. This development comes on the heels of an earlier attempt by another Saudi Pro League club, Al Diriyah, to sign Ndidi, which was reportedly rebuffed by Beşiktaş during the current transfer window. Al-Ittihad have identified the 29-year-old Nigerian international as a key target in their quest to bolster their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season. Ndidi, who joined Beşiktaş from Leicester City in August 2025 on a three-year contract with an option for a one-year extension, has established himself as an indispensable member of the team. He was appointed vice-captain in October 2025 and has made 31 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist. Despite his importance to the team, Beşiktaş are open to negotiations, but only if their valuation of the player is met. The bid from Al-Ittihad is understood to be close to Beşiktaş's asking price, although no official agreement has been announced between the two clubs. Ndidi has also garnered interest from other Middle Eastern clubs during the current transfer window, with Al-Ittihad now emerging as a serious contender for his signature.
