Victor Osimhen's Transfermarkt Value Decreases to €65 Million

Full Story
Super Eagles forward and Galatasaray star, Victor Osimhen, has experienced another drop in his estimated market value, as reported by Transfermarkt. His valuation has now declined from €75 million to €65 million in the latest update. This €10 million reduction, according to Transfermarkt, is attributed to a summer that saw the Turkish Süper Lig attract several prominent international players, including Mohamed Salah, Rafael Leão, and Dušan Vlahović.
This recent development places Osimhen's valuation at its lowest point in four years. The last time his market worth stood at €65 million was in June 2022, when he was 23 years old, barely two years after his transfer from Lille to Napoli. When the Nigerian striker initially joined Galatasaray on loan in September 2024, he was valued at €100 million, making him the most valuable player in Süper Lig history at that time.
Following his move away from one of Europe's top five leagues, Transfermarkt adjusted his valuation downwards to €75 million. His value later saw a further dip to €70 million before recovering to €75 million after Galatasaray finalized his permanent €75 million transfer from Napoli in July 2025. Transfermarkt maintained his €75 million valuation in May 2026, citing his elite status and the interest he garnered from major European clubs.
With this new €65 million valuation, Osimhen is now €55 million below his career peak of €120 million, which he achieved during his tenure at Napoli. Despite this latest decrease, Osimhen remains at the forefront of the Turkish market-value rankings, significantly ahead of his peers. Rafael Leão is currently valued at €50 million, Dušan Vlahović at €35 million, and Mohamed Salah at €22 million, underscoring the Nigerian's leading position.
