The Barbados Police Service Narcotics Unit has officially announced the arrest and formal charging of Abdul-Rasheed Anjolaoluwa Oduola, a 19-year-old British national. Oduola faces allegations concerning the possession and trafficking of 23.4 kilograms of cocaine. This information was released by the police in a statement shared on their official Facebook page on Friday.

Mr. Oduola, who resides at #145 Valance Wood Road, Dagenham, East London, United Kingdom, was taken into custody for offences reportedly committed on September 29, 2026. The police statement explicitly listed the charges, which include:

“The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Narcotics Unit, has arrested and formally charged Abdul-Rasheed Anjolaoluwa Oduola, 19 years of #145 Valance Wood Road, Dagenham, East London, United Kingdom for the following offences committed on September 29th 2026: possession of cocaine, trafficking of cocaine, intent to supply cocaine, attempting to export cocaine.”

Authorities confirmed that the seized suspected cocaine weighed 23.4 kilograms and holds an estimated street value of $1.17 million in Barbados currency. The statement further clarified the value, stating: “The weight of the suspected Cocaine is 23.4kg with an estimated street value of one million, one hundred and seventy thousand dollars ($1,170,000.00) Barbados currency.”
