Abia Community Bids Farewell to Family of Five After Mysterious Deaths

A profound wave of sorrow swept through the Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State on Friday, October 2, as the final rites were conducted for a family of five. The family had tragically and mysteriously passed away back in July.

Earlier reports, initially shared by LIB, detailed the identities of the deceased: Mr. Nnabugwu Onyekachi, his wife Mrs. Chinaza Onyekachi, and their three young children, David, Nneoma, and Chinyendu. The family was last known to have gone to bed on Saturday, July 18.

However, it wasn't until Tuesday, September 21, that their lifeless bodies were discovered. Concerned neighbours, having noticed an unusual silence from the family's residence for several days, took the initiative to forcefully enter the apartment. Inside, the scene revealed containers with remnants of food and a generator set.

The funeral service on Friday was a truly heartbreaking occasion, marking the solemn interment of the couple and their children in their ancestral hometown, also situated within the Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State.
