Tragedy Unfolds in Scotland as Couple Found Dead in Remote Cottage

A devastating incident has occurred in a remote cottage on the outskirts of Renfrewshire, Scotland, where a husband and wife, identified as Stacy Mair, 35, and Jim Mair, 43, were found dead. The couple, who were married in 2019, worked together at TRS Tree Surgery, a company based in Glasgow. According to reports, police received a call at 7:50 am on Monday, 27 July, expressing concern for a person in the Corsliehill Road area. Upon arrival, emergency services discovered the bodies of the couple. The police are currently treating their deaths as unexplained and are conducting post-mortem examinations to determine the cause of death. A Police Scotland spokesperson stated, 'An investigation is ongoing into the deaths of a 35-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man in the Houston area.' The spokesperson added that extensive enquiries are being carried out to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
