Lizzy Anjorin Tackles Iyabo Ojo for Daughter's Presence at Soso Soberekon's Wedding

Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin Lawal has publicly criticized her industry colleague and long-standing rival, Iyabo Ojo, following Ojo's attendance at music executive Soso Soberekon's recent wedding. The lavish ceremony, held in Warri, Delta State, on Saturday, July 25, saw Iyabo Ojo arrive with her daughter, Priscilla Mkambala, among other high-profile guests.

In a video shared online, Anjorin accused Iyabo Ojo and Priscilla of staging a private jet photoshoot, claiming the aircraft never departed its Lagos tarmac, implying a deliberate attempt to mislead the public. Anjorin further alleged that Ojo's presence at the wedding, accompanied by her daughter, was a desperate move driven by financial difficulties. "You travelled for a party, just because you needed donations, just because you are broke and poor; that is why you have to travel with your daughter to the party. How many of them went to that party with their children?" Lizzy questioned in her widely circulated video.

Responding to a follower who suggested her criticism stemmed from not being invited to the event, Lizzy Anjorin firmly denied the insinuation. She stated her preference for business over social gatherings, asserting, "I am not a party person. I am a business person per excellence. If you see me at your party, you do not know what has done for you. That is why when I am hosting a party, I do not expect much from people. I don't prepare for a crowd. The quality people might be just five or ten." She then directly challenged Iyabo Ojo's motives, adding, "Must you go to that party, Iyabo Ojo? Go and get a job!"

As of the time of this report, Iyabo Ojo has not issued any public statement in response to Lizzy Anjorin's allegations.
