Late Mary Habila Debunks Death Rumours in Video Released by Friend

In a shocking turn of events, a video has surfaced showing the late Mary Habila, a 26-year-old woman, dismissing rumours of her own death just three days before she actually passed away. The video was shared on Facebook by Anita Baaki, a physiotherapist from Benue State and a close friend of Mary's. According to Anita, false reports of Mary's death began circulating online on June 24, 2026. In response, Mary herself decided to address the rumours, recording a video on June 25, 2026, in which she assured everyone that she was alive and in good health. Tragically, Mary's life was cut short when she died on June 27, 2026, at the residence of the Minister of Works, David Umahi, in Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. Anita's decision to share the video on July 20 has brought attention to the circumstances surrounding Mary's death, with many people expressing shock and sadness at the news.
