Osun Election: Voter Exposes Alleged Vote Recording Error

A resident of Osun, David Adesina, has expressed concerns over an alleged discrepancy in the recording of election results at a polling unit during the recent governorship election in the state. According to Adesina, after the ballots were counted, the Accord Party had secured 212 votes, while the All Progressives Congress had 107 votes. However, he claimed that a National Youth Service Corps member involved in the process initially wrote 012 for the Accord Party's vote count. Adesina stated that those present at the scene pointed out the error, saying 'We said not 012, it was supposed to be 212.' The figure was later corrected to 212 and signed. Adesina appealed for the matter to be widely known to prevent any further alterations. 'Please let the whole world hear this so that later, they will not change it for us. Thank you and God bless you,' he said. The Independent National Electoral Commission oversaw the voting and counting process across polling units in the state, with results being announced at individual polling units before further collation.
