Mysterious Death in Rivers: Man Found Lifeless After Alleged Kidnap and Drugging

A disturbing incident occurred in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Saturday, when the lifeless body of a yet-to-be-identified man was discovered along the Obiri-Ikwerre Flyover axis of the East-West Road. According to eyewitness accounts, the victim was allegedly dropped off from a Toyota Venza vehicle by unknown individuals, who then sped away. Before succumbing to his fate, the man reportedly revealed to onlookers that he had been kidnapped and forced to consume an unknown substance. The eyewitness further stated that residents promptly alerted a nearby police patrol team, but unfortunately, no immediate action was taken. As of 3:30 p.m., the victim's body remained at the scene, despite the heavy downpour. The residents are now calling on the Rivers State Government and security agencies to step up efforts to improve security in the state and protect the lives and property of citizens. The body has been left at the scene, with photos shared in the hopes that family and friends may be able to identify the deceased.
