The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has shared the joyful news of the birth of a baby princess with his wife, Olori Oluwatosin. This new addition to the royal family comes just a few months after the monarch welcomed twin princes with another wife, Olori Mariam Ajibola. The Ooni announced the birth of the princess on his official Facebook page, expressing his gratitude to God for the safe delivery and confirming that both the mother and the child are in good health. In his post, he stated, 'To God Almighty be all the glory for his unfailing grace and the precious gift of new life. Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa for the blessed arrival of a Royal Princess through Olori Oluwatosin. May the Almighty preserve this divine gift and cause her to flourish in wisdom, grace, and honour.' The Ooni also mentioned that both Olori Oluwatosin and the Royal Princess are in excellent health. This latest development in the royal family follows the birth of twin princes with Olori Mariam Ajibola, which was announced by the Ooni on his Facebook page in May. After his marriage to Olori Naomi ended, the monarch married six wives within a short period, including Mariam Anako, Elizabeth Akinmudai, Tobiloba Philips, Ashley Adegoke, Ronke Ademiluyi, and Temitope Adesegun. While marking his 48th birthday and seventh coronation anniversary, Ooni explained that his decision to marry multiple wives was due to the traditional heritage of Ile Ife.
