Anambra's Soludo Queries Peter Obi's Impact on Igbo People

Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, has once more publicly expressed his disapproval of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP) and former governor of the state. During a campaign event held in Anambra on Saturday, September 19, Governor Soludo raised questions regarding Obi's effectiveness and contributions to the state's development. Speaking in the Igbo language, Soludo directly challenged Obi's record, stating, “Ask him, since he has been in politics, what has he brought to the Igbos? Look at the bad state and erosion on Anambra for a long time? Since he started politics, what has he done about it? Then, when it is time for election, you come and start playing with our emotions and still want us to waste our votes on you and remain where we are. It won't happen again. 2026, will be different. We Igbos will get our share this time around by voting right.” The governor reiterated his challenge, further emphasizing, “Ask him, since he has been in politics, what has he brought to the Igbos?
