Kaduna Governor: North-West Must Reward Tinubu's Impact with 2027 Votes

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has called on residents of the North-West region to reciprocate President Bola Tinubu's administration's efforts by casting their votes for his re-election in the 2027 presidential polls. Governor Sani conveyed this message on Saturday through his Special Adviser on Politics, Abubakar Muhammad Mamadi, during the launch of coordinators and members for the "Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria" support group, covering the seven North-West states, held in Kaduna.

The governor highlighted the substantial benefits the North-West region has received under the Tinubu government, particularly in crucial sectors like agriculture, education, youth empowerment, and women's development. Mamadi, speaking on behalf of Governor Sani, declared, "No region has benefited under Tinubu’s administration like the North, particularly the seven states in the North-West region." He tasked the newly appointed coordinators with disseminating the Federal Government's achievements to the grassroots and mobilizing voters across Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Sokoto, and Zamfara states for President Tinubu.

Mike Auta, the convener of the support group, urged members to embark on vigorous grassroots mobilization, emphasizing the need to reach communities beyond major urban centers. Auta stated, "Go to all nooks and crannies of the states and mobilise the people. We must ensure victory for President Tinubu come 2027."

Karima Abdullai, the group's women's leader, mentioned that millions of women have benefited from various cash assistance and empowerment initiatives spearheaded by the Tinubu administration. She encouraged women throughout the region to support the President's re-election, expressing confidence that a second term would bring even more opportunities for women.

Also addressing the gathering, Farida Ahmed Bala, the Director of Town Hall Engagement and Special Duties, appealed to Nigerians for patience with the current administration, describing the period as one of national rebuilding and restructuring. "Let us be honest with ourselves, rebuilding a nation is not easy," Bala remarked, drawing a parallel to the renovation of a neglected property. She concluded by stating, "Patience leads to progress, and progress leads to prosperity." The organizers confirmed that the Kaduna inauguration marks the beginning of a broader grassroots mobilization drive across the North-West, aimed at securing widespread support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
