The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has extended his warm congratulations to the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his successful re-election. In a series of posts on social media, Keyamo joined the multitude of well-wishers who have been congratulating Adeleke on his historic victory in the Osun governorship election. Keyamo also took the opportunity to acknowledge Adeleke's public endorsement of President Bola Tinubu's bid for a second term in office in 2027, emphasizing the importance of upholding political agreements. The State Returning Officer, Prof Joshua Ogunwole, announced the result at approximately 7:24 am on Sunday. Adeleke, who contested under the banner of the ACCORD party, secured 511,067 votes to defeat his closest rival, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress, who garnered 444,815 votes.
