In a move to bolster the economic prospects of women in Bauchi State, the wife of the Governor, Aisha Mohammed, has introduced an empowerment package valued at over N80 million. This initiative, which includes the distribution of cassava to women, aims to enhance their livelihoods and bolster household incomes. The statement highlighted that the support is intended to help women strengthen their businesses, improve household income, and become more economically self-sufficient. This intervention reflects the First Lady's ongoing commitment to promoting women's welfare, dignity, and economic independence at the grassroots level. Additionally, the APM governorship candidate, Yakubu Adamu, donated N5 million to women from the 20 local government areas to assist with transportation and facilitate their return to their communities.
