The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress in Osun State, Najeem Salaam, has expressed concerns over the alleged exclusion of his party's agents in various parts of the state during the recent election. According to Salaam, who cast his vote at 10:39 a.m. at his polling unit, reports indicated that ADC agents were not recognized in 10 local government areas, despite the party submitting their names prior to the election. He stated that he had reported the matter to the relevant authorities, who are currently investigating the issue. Salaam denied allegations of vote buying, emphasizing that his party's focus is on presenting its programs to the people and allowing them to make informed decisions. 'We engage with the people, inform them about our programs, and that is exactly what we do. Vote buying is not part of our strategy. I have never bought votes in my life,' he said. The candidate, who voted at Ward 4, expressed confidence in his chances of winning, attributing his optimism to his faith in God and the support of the voters.
