Umar Namadi Charges New Aides to Foster Collaboration for Jigawa's Growth

In a bid to bolster his administration, Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has inaugurated six new aides, tasking them to prioritize teamwork and adhere to their oaths of office. This move, according to the governor, is aimed at fortifying the state's governance structure. The swearing-in ceremony, which took place at the Council Chamber of the Jigawa State Government House in Dutse, was presided over by the state's Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, Abdulkadir Fanini. Following the oath-taking, the newly appointed officials signed their oath of office forms in the presence of the governor, members of the State Executive Council, and a large gathering of family, friends, and well-wishers. Emphasizing the importance of collective effort, Governor Namadi stated that the appointments were based on the appointees' capabilities and their connections to the grassroots. He reminded them that their selection was merit-based, underscoring the need for them to remember their oaths of office as they discharge their duties. The governor also encouraged the new aides to embrace a collaborative approach in their respective offices, saying, 'I call on you to always remember your oath of office as it will surely guide you in the discharge of your duties.' He further stressed, 'I urge you to work in teams for better results that will positively impact the lives of our people.' Among those sworn in were Muftahu Majia as Technical Adviser on Higher Education, Salma Wakili as Special Adviser on Entrepreneurship, Adamu Garkuwa as Special Adviser on Hajj Affairs, and Mubarak Aliyu as Special Adviser on Intergovernmental Affairs. Others included Musbahu Kaugama as Special Adviser on Special Investment and Bala Sule as Special Adviser on Non-Governmental Organisations. Responding on behalf of the appointees, Muftahu Majia expressed gratitude to the governor, saying, 'We thank His Excellency for the confidence reposed in us. We will not betray this trust. We are committed to teamwork, dedication, and service delivery in line with the vision of a better Jigawa.' Majia also pledged that the new team would bring innovative ideas to their offices, focusing on policies that promote education, investment, and community development across the state.
