Spain Foils Jet Ski Smuggling Attempt as Migrant Crisis Deepens

In a daring operation, Spanish authorities have apprehended two individuals suspected of orchestrating a human trafficking ring that utilized high-speed watercraft to smuggle migrants from the North African enclave of Ceuta to mainland Spain. The dramatic arrests came on the heels of a mass influx of migrants into Ceuta, with approximately 60,000 people crossing into the Spanish territory.
