The Iranian army has taken responsibility for a series of drone strikes targeting American military facilities in Bahrain and Jordan. According to the Iranian army, the drone strikes were carried out in retaliation for recent US attacks on the Islamic republic. The army claimed that its Arash kamikaze drones successfully targeted fuel tanks, large equipment warehouses, silos, and barracks at the Isa Air Base in Bahrain. Additionally, the Iranian army alleged that it had also carried out drone strikes against the Al-Azraq base in Jordan, targeting aircraft hangars, aviation maintenance hangars, and a barracks. However, Jordan has not reported any strikes in the recent hours. Tehran has argued that any facility or base in the Middle East used by the US military for strikes on Iran is considered a legitimate target for retaliation. The incident occurred on Friday morning, with reports of an explosion and warning sirens sounding in Bahrain, although it is unclear if the two events are linked. The Iranian army's actions are seen as a significant escalation in the region, with the US and Iran having a history of tensions.
