A Canada-based Nigerian woman, Prophetess Ezinne Nwanorue, has sparked outrage on social media with her reaction to the death of her mother-in-law, Comfort Nwanorue. In a Facebook post, Ezinne described the deceased as a 'wicked witch' and expressed her joy over the passing, stating that her mother-in-law's demise was a victory for her. The post, which included the funeral poster of Comfort Nwanorue, read: 'One wicked witch is down: my dead mother-in-law, Comfort Chika Nwanorue, rest in pieces in hell with other dead witches; your members will soon join you. I am the weapon fashioned against all the witches and wizards and all the evil people in the world; you all shall go down in my hands.' Ezinne further stated that she was speaking from her position as a prophetess of God and warned those she deemed evil to repent and accept Christ. This is not the first time Ezinne has made headlines; she previously went viral after making her husband, Franklin Chimaobim Nwanorue, swear an oath of fidelity before relocating to Canada. The oath, which was recorded and published on social media, saw Franklin pledge to remain faithful to his wife and face death if he cheated on her. However, Ezinne later alleged that her husband had broken the oath, claiming he had an affair with another woman. The latest development has brought renewed attention to the family's ongoing dispute, with many social media users criticizing Ezinne for her response to her mother-in-law's death. As of the time of reporting, neither Franklin Nwanorue nor other family members had publicly responded to Ezinne's post.
