U.S.-Based Nigerian Nurse, Sugar, Details Ex-Husband's Threesome Demands

Bukola Akinpelu, a Nigerian-American registered nurse known publicly as Nurse Sugar, has shared insights into her challenging past marriage, disclosing that her ex-husband frequently requested a threesome during their intimate encounters. During an interview with Ifedayo Agoro, Nurse Sugar recounted how her former spouse would bring up the topic almost every time they were intimate. She stated, "I would say if we got intimate 10 times, he would ask 9.5 times." She elaborated that she often consented to his requests, primarily to conclude the discussion rather than prolong it. "I would say yes every time that he asked. But because there was no means. Because if I didn’t say yes, it would keep going," she explained. These requests, she noted, occurred spontaneously during their intimate moments, rather than being a pre-discussed aspect of their relationship.

Furthermore, Nurse Sugar identified her traditional wedding day as the pinnacle of humiliation she experienced throughout the union. She remarked, "Of every day that I’ve been humiliated in the relationship, my traditional wedding day, nothing tops it," adding that several vendors later reached out to confirm they had witnessed the incident. She also confessed to gripping her partner's shirt during a disagreement, though she clarified that she did not physically strike him. Nurse Sugar further disclosed that despite her ex-husband insulting her parents, she chose to stay in the marriage. She explained that this pattern eventually devolved into a cycle where she would retaliate by insulting his family whenever he denigrated hers. She quoted herself, saying, "So if you say, ‘This and this is your mom,’ I’ll say, ‘This and this is your mom as well.’"
