Rita Edochie Challenges "Mrs Edochie" Over Allegations of Husband Snatching

Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has publicly confronted an individual identified only as "Mrs Edochie," accusing her of involvement in "husband snatching." According to the actress, this alleged act has left the woman in a state of disorientation.

Edochie issued a stern warning to the woman, vowing to "constantly be several weapons fashioned against your evil exploits." She further elaborated that she had cautioned the woman from the onset, making it clear that she would persistently pursue the matter until justice is served.

This latest development aligns with a long-standing dispute involving Rita Edochie and actress Judy Austin. For several years, Rita has been vocal in her criticism of Judy Austin, especially after Austin began a relationship with and subsequently married actor Yul Edochie – Rita Edochie’s nephew by marriage – while he was still legally married to his first wife. The relationship progressed, leading to the secret birth of a child, and ultimately the dissolution of Yul Edochie’s initial marriage.

Presently, Yul Edochie and Judy Austin share three children. Despite this, Rita Edochie has maintained her stance, unequivocally stating that she will never acknowledge Judy Austin as a member of the Edochie family.
