Nollywood Star Rykardo Agbor Escapes Serious Ibadan Car Accident

Popular Nollywood personality, Rykardo Agbor, is fortunate to be alive after being involved in a vehicular accident within Ibadan, Oyo State. The actor shared the incident with his followers on Saturday via a video posted on his official Instagram page, which displayed his silver Lexus SUV severely damaged at the crash site.

The footage revealed extensive damage to the front section of the vehicle, including a crushed bonnet, a shattered grille, visible engine components, and a compromised front-left tyre. Agbor, who appeared to be present at the scene, identified the location as being directly in front of the Cornerstone City billboard in Ibadan.

“This is my vehicle in front of Corner… Cornerstone City, Ibadan,” he stated in the video, repeatedly expressing profound gratitude to God for surviving the ordeal. He emphasized, “Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ.” He later added, “This is what just happened to me now. Oh God.”

In the accompanying caption for the post, Agbor wrote, “As I was saying.. …Thank God Almighty I made it out of this. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ.”

Born on February 4, 1973, in Lagos State, Rykardo Agbor hails from Delta State. He is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan, where he studied Mass Communication. His career in acting commenced in 1992, following a stint as a model. He gained significant recognition after his role in the film 'Visa to Hell'. Over a career spanning more than three decades, Agbor has featured prominently in numerous Nollywood productions, performing in both English and Yoruba language films.
