Seyi Vibez Removes Hilda Baci Posts After Defamation Lawsuit Threat

Popular singer Seyi Vibez has taken down social media content he published concerning celebrity chef Hilda Baci. This action follows a legal demand from Baci's representatives, who threatened legal proceedings if the posts were not immediately removed.
The legal firm Olaniwun Ajayi LP, representing Hilda Baci, dispatched a letter dated August 15, 2026, accusing the musician of disseminating statements on the social media platform X that were deemed defamatory, malicious, and false against their client. The lawyers specifically highlighted two posts made by Seyi Vibez on August 14. One post alleged that Hilda Baci's BBL procedure was connected to artists' catalogue earnings, while the other claimed that consuming her food nearly caused him harm and further suggested spiritual manipulation.
According to the legal correspondence, these contentious posts collectively garnered approximately 4.3 million views, 7,100 reposts, 3,000 comments, and 45,000 likes. Baci's legal team asserted that the posts instigated harassment and abusive messages targeting their client, resulting in significant reputational damage and emotional distress.
The demands from Hilda Baci's lawyers included the permanent deletion of the posts by Seyi Vibez, the issuance of a public apology and retraction across all his social media platforms, and a request for his followers to cease any form of harassment directed at Hilda. Furthermore, the singer was given a three-day ultimatum to provide a written commitment not to repeat or circulate similar allegations, with a stern warning that non-compliance would lead to further legal measures. Seyi Vibez has since complied by deleting the contentious posts.
