A Nigerian woman, Grace Adeyemi, recently took to Facebook to outline a specific list of male professions she would never consider dating. Her post, shared on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, detailed her reasons for ruling out doctors, photographers, musicians, politicians, and pastors from her romantic prospects.

Adeyemi explained her reservations, stating that her personal insecurities make dating doctors impossible. She elaborated that doctors frequently encounter attractive women, which would cause her significant unease. Photographers also made her 'no-go' list due to the nature of their work, which often involves physical interaction and posing with female clients.

When it came to musicians, Grace cited their tendency to offer excuses for unfaithful behavior, such as attributing it to their 'lifestyle' or claiming women are merely 'video vixens'. While acknowledging an admiration for individuals in positions of power, she found the political sphere too demanding, with its endless meetings, travel, and need for secrecy, making politicians unsuitable partners for her.

Finally, Grace firmly stated she could not marry a pastor. Her primary concerns revolved around the extensive responsibilities associated with being a pastor's wife and her unwillingness to be addressed as 'Mama'. She highlighted the demanding nature of the role, including constant prayer, fasting for extended periods, and attending vigils, all of which she felt unable to undertake.
