Authorities in South Africa confirmed on Wednesday that three unidentified attackers opened fire at a house party in the KwaMakhutha township, resulting in the deaths of at least eleven individuals and leaving three others injured. Among the deceased was a woman reportedly pregnant, as detailed in a statement released by the police.

The tragic incident unfolded on Tuesday night within the KwaMakhutha township, situated approximately 30 kilometers (19 miles) south of Durban, a major city on South Africa's east coast.
