Florida Mom Malia Nummerdor Faces Bestiality Charge, Cries Foul Play by Ex

A Florida mother, Malia Nummerdor, 38, is facing serious charges after being accused of engaging in s*xual acts with her dog. The mother of two sons was taken into custody last week following public allegations made by her estranged husband, Erik Nummerdor, on Facebook. Erik claimed to possess both video and photographic evidence supporting his disturbing accusations, as detailed in the charging documents.

According to an arrest report from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Malia was formally charged with s*xual contact with an animal. Her husband informed law enforcement that he had installed two security cameras within their residence. Initially, these cameras were intended to identify who was pilfering money from a coin jar, and their presence was known to all household members, Erik stated.

While reviewing footage from a camera placed in a bedroom, Erik reportedly discovered a video showing Malia allegedly involved in s*xual acts with Ranger, the family dog. Police confirmed that the husband provided investigators with the recording and access to the laptop containing the footage, which they noted "provided an independent source of corroboration beyond Erik’s statements."

On September 15, police interviewed Malia, who appeared to be under the influence and admitted to consuming drugs or alcohol. When questioned about the dog's close proximity to her private area, Malia "denied s£xual conduct and claimed she had merely been lying with and petting her elderly dog near its bed,” the police report stated. However, officers noted that "When asked to clarify her physical position and the dog’s placement between her legs, Nummerdor was unable to provide any coherent or consistent explanation,” though she did mention another dog was present in the room.

Malia was arrested on September 15 and subsequently booked at the Charlotte County Jail, though she has since been released. In her defense, friends have launched an online fundraiser for her, which commenced on Monday, September 21. The fundraiser asserts that Malia and her sons’ “lives have been turned upside down following a painful and difficult situation involving Malia’s estranged husband and allegations against her that she maintains are untrue.”

The appeal further states that the family has been displaced from their home, and Malia is now burdened with substantial legal expenses. Friends highlighted that Malia, an only child with no surviving parents, is relying heavily on their support. The fundraiser's description clarified its purpose, stating: “Malia is facing serious allegations, and she needs experienced legal representation to ensure that she has the opportunity to fully address them through the proper legal process. This situation has also deeply affected her two young sons, who deserve privacy, stability, and as much normalcy as possible while the adults involved work through what comes next.” It added: “This fundraiser is not asking anyone to decide the facts of the case. It is about helping a mother and her children get through an extraordinarily difficult period and making sure Malia has access to appropriate legal representation.”

Despite the urgency, the fundraiser has garnered minimal support, with only two donations totaling less than $20 since its inception. Malia’s Facebook profile displays photos of her with Erik, whom she married in 2023, and her two sons over the years.
