Alleged S3x Extortion Against Comedian Carrot Top Preceded Su*cide Bid

Legal representatives for comedian Carrot Top have leveled accusations against Brian Evans, alleging he tried to extort half a million dollars from the entertainer. The alleged scheme involved threats to publicly file a s3xually explicit recording featuring the comedian in court documents.

A court document dated September 3, and sighted by TMZ, indicates that attorneys for Scott Thompson, the 61-year-old known professionally as Carrot Top, claimed Evans vowed to submit a USB drive holding the sensitive recording unless a financial settlement of $500,000 was agreed upon. However, Evans has challenged this interpretation, asserting his communications were not threatening in nature.

An email from Evans, presented as evidence in the filing, stated: “Given the existing posture of the case and the coverage already in print, I expect the press will report the motion and will use its own imagination about what the USB is... That is a foreseeable fact about third-party reporting of a public docket. It is not a threat.”

Following this, Evans detailed what he presented as a potential resolution to the ongoing disagreement. He wrote: “Path A remains available on the terms previously stated: Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) in immediately available funds, in exchange for resolution of all claims against Scott Thompson... Otherwise I will proceed with the motion for leave as the next filing.”

The court document also revealed that Evans forwarded links to online news articles concerning his legal action against the comedian to Thompson’s legal representatives. Attorneys for Thompson contended that these communications constituted an attempt to secure funds through the threat of public humiliation. The legal team asserted: “This is not settlement communication. On its face it is a malicious threat to expose Thompson to disgrace, and to expose a secret affecting him, with intent thereby to extort money under the guise of litigation conduct.”

It is important to note that this accusation of extortion is solely the claim made by Thompson’s legal counsel and has not been legally proven as a criminal offense against Evans. Furthermore, a spokesperson for Thompson highlighted earlier judicial rulings concerning Evans. The representative quoted: “A federal court recently declared Mr. Evans a ‘vexatious litigant’ and described his filings as ‘serial’ and ‘spurious.’ In dismissing one of his cases with prejudice, the court went even further, stating: ‘It appears this entire case is designed to harass Defendants.’ The court’s findings and Mr. Evans’s litigation record speak for themselves.”

This legal controversy became public knowledge while Thompson remains in hospital, recuperating from what has been reported as a su*cide attempt. His representative confirmed that the comedian's primary focus is presently on his recovery. The spokesperson added: “Mr. Thompson is currently recovering, surrounded by his family and those closest to him. His focus is on his health and recovery, and we ask that his privacy be respected at this time.” Meanwhile, TMZ, who obtained the filing, stated they reached out to Evans for his comments but did not receive a reply.
