Nigerian music star, Odumodublvck, found himself in a heated confrontation with law enforcement officers who attempted to take him into custody shortly after his performance at a Lagos nightclub. The incident unfolded in the early hours of today, August 29, and a video clip capturing the exchange has since gone viral across social media platforms.

In the widely circulated footage, the rapper can be heard vehemently asserting the illegality of the attempted arrest. "It is illegal to arrest me here," Odumodublvck declared to the police officer.

The officer, in turn, argued that the rapper had previously been invited for questioning but had failed to honour the invitation. Odumodublvck, however, challenged the officer's authority, stating, "You do not have any jurisdiction. My lawyers attended to it (the invitation). They came to your office."

When pressed by the officer about whether he was resisting arrest, Odumodublvck clarified his stance. He responded, "I am not resisting an arrest. There is a motion ex parte that says you cannot arrest me. Why should I follow you? It is illegal."

Despite the rapper's claims, the police officer insisted that their force had not yet received any such ex parte motion. The specific reasons behind the attempted arrest of the popular artist have not yet been disclosed to the public.
