Pit Bull Attack Leaves Couple Injured in India's Ghuman Nagar Area

A shocking incident occurred in India's Ghuman Nagar area, where a couple, Ankit Sabharwal and his wife Shifali, were brutally attacked by a pet pit bull. The attack happened on Tuesday evening, August 11, when the couple, accompanied by a property dealer, went to inspect a house they were considering renting. As soon as the house gate was opened, the pit bull rushed out and attacked Shifali, leaving her with severe injuries that required surgical intervention. Ankit also suffered deep bite wounds on his legs and back while trying to rescue his wife. The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage, which has been circulating on social media. The footage shows the dog attacking the couple, while nearby residents attempted to fend it off with sticks. Eventually, two to three people managed to pull the injured couple away from the dog. Ankit has reported the incident to the police and is seeking action against those responsible for allowing the dog to roam freely. This incident has raised concerns over dog attacks in the area. Shifali is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
