In a daring move, a man identified as John Keba was apprehended by the Owa Youth Vigilante in Ika Local Government Area of Delta State for attempting to sell a motorcycle that did not belong to him. The vigilante group, acting on credible intelligence, recovered the suspected stolen DayLong motorcycle and subsequently handed the suspect over to the Police at the Owa-Oyibu Divisional Headquarters for further investigation. According to the Owa Youth Vigilante, John Keba allegedly confessed to taking the motorcycle from his friend in Uromi, Edo State, and had been using it for commercial Okada business in Agbor. His attempt to sell the motorcycle without any ownership documents ultimately led to his arrest. Comrade Jerry Okonta, the Chief Security Officer of the Owa Youth Vigilante, explained that the operation was the result of reliable information. Efforts are currently underway to locate the rightful owner of the motorcycle. The Owa Youth Vigilante also took the opportunity to advise youths to desist from engaging in criminal activities and instead embrace lawful means of earning a living.
