Pharmacist Sparks Outrage with Post Downplaying Non-Consensual Sex

A Nigerian pharmacist has faced intense backlash for a Facebook post that appeared to normalise non-consensual sex. The post, which has since gone viral, was made in response to the recent case of a young woman who took her own life after being r@ped by a popular content creator. The pharmacist, Michael Ifeanyichukwu Ogbodo, wrote that every man, including himself, has had forceful intercourse with a woman at some point. He stated, 'As a guy, if you have never forced a girl before, be the first to throw a stone, and as a girl, if a man, be it your boyfriend, has never had sex with you without your full consent, also be the first to throw a stone.' Ogbodo's post was widely condemned, with many calling for the pharmacist council to take disciplinary action against him. The pharmacist has since apologised for his post, saying 'I'm very sorry for that post.' However, his apology has not been well received by social media users, who are demanding that he face consequences for his actions.
