Kaduna Double Tragedy: Kidnapped Mother Dies, Son Killed After Ransom Attempt

Following her capture, the kidnappers issued a ransom demand that far exceeded the financial capabilities of her family and community members. Despite their desperate attempts to gather the funds, the family could not meet the stipulated amount within the given timeframe.

In a courageous bid to secure his mother's freedom, her eldest son took it upon himself to deliver the ransom, hoping to negotiate her release. However, upon reaching the captors, he was met with the devastating news that his mother had already perished while in captivity. The ordeal took a darker turn as the son himself was reportedly seized by the abductors and subjected to further abuse. His family endured additional torment through distressing communications regarding his welfare. Tragically, he too lost his life, leaving behind a grieving wife and children.
