Baba Ijesha Warns Male Colleagues: Confirm Age Before Fan Photos

Convicted Nollywood actor, Lanre Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has offered a piece of counsel to his male counterparts in the industry regarding their interactions with female admirers. While speaking on public engagements such as requests for photographs or casual greetings, Omiyinka stressed the importance of confirming the legal age of female fans before proceeding.
"Anytime a female fan approaches you, the first step should be to ask if she is an adult," Omiyinka was quoted as saying. He emphasized that this precautionary measure is crucial for male celebrities to avoid inadvertently becoming entangled in legal complications related to sexual assault or harassment allegations.
Baba Ijesha himself is currently serving a prison sentence following his high-profile conviction for the sexual assault of a minor, a context that underscores the gravity of his advice.
