Globacom, a leading digital solutions provider in Nigeria, recently reiterated its long-standing dedication to acknowledging outstanding performance, loyalty, and vital collaborations. The company celebrated 115 of its most successful business partners at the 2026 Glo Partners' Reward Gala, showering them with substantial cash sums, brand-new automobiles, and various other valuable incentives. The grand event took place on Thursday at the upscale Eko Hotel & Suites on Victoria Island, Lagos, serving as a tribute to dealers whose exceptional contributions from January to June 2026 were crucial to Globacom's sustained expansion and prominent market position.

Abdul Rasaq Ande, Globacom's Cluster Head for Lagos 2, represented the company at the event. He characterized the gala as a recognition of the lasting collaboration, common goals, and cooperative drive that have been fundamental to Globacom's impressive trajectory over its twenty-three-year history. Ande stated, "Our partners have, over the years, been the bedrock of the Globacom ecosystem, and their success is our success." He further reflected on the company's journey since its inception on August 29, 2003, highlighting Globacom's consistent differentiation through pioneering technology, superior service delivery, and continuous investment in its telecommunications infrastructure. Ande assured attendees of the company's ongoing commitment to investing in cutting-edge technologies and expanding its network to guarantee customers nationwide receive top-tier services.

In a move to continuously enhance subscriber value, Globacom also introduced several new consumer-centric programs. Chief among these was the 'More Data More Value' initiative, crafted to ensure that customers receive exceptional digital benefits for every Naira spent, thereby solidifying the company's established image for affordability and empowering its users. Furthermore, business partners received updates on various strategic technological advancements aimed at improving customer interactions. These included Gloria, an AI-powered voice assistant for Glo Café that offers support in six languages. The firm also drew attention to the expanded 'Borrow Me Credit' facility, designed to provide seamless connectivity for users with depleted or low account balances, as well as the ongoing revamp of the Glo Café platform to offer more enriched and customized digital engagements.

The evening seamlessly blended professional discussions with festive celebration, unfolding in an ambiance of sophistication and gratitude. A notable feature of the event was the 'Rep Your Region' Best Dressed Competition, which beautifully spotlighted Nigeria's diverse cultural heritage through stunning traditional garments. Alamin Muhammed Suleiman from Benjee Communication and Anthonia Agbasi of Chicadef Global Limited were declared winners in the male and female divisions, respectively, each receiving a cash reward of ₦500,000. Attendees were also treated to musical performances by the acclaimed live-band leader, Segun Johnson, while popular comedian Gordons, alongside TV personality and brand influencer Moet Abebe, ensured an evening brimming with humour, fellowship, and unforgettable experiences.

Speaking for the awardees, Ademola Akinlabi, the Managing Director of Demmy Global Resources, and Alhaji Yusuf Yahaya from Lambadaya Stores, conveyed deep gratitude to Globacom. They lauded the company for acknowledging exceptional dealers in various categories with new vehicles, significant monetary prizes, and other valuable benefits. Both described the initiative as a powerful testament to Globacom's dedication to fostering and maintaining mutually advantageous collaborations.

Concluding in the early hours of Friday, the gala once more highlighted Globacom's steadfast principle: that extraordinary achievements merit extraordinary acknowledgement. By consistently investing in its workforce, partners, technology, and infrastructure, the company persists in reinforcing the bedrock of Nigeria's digital advancement, simultaneously motivating its business associates to provide even superior value to millions of patrons across the country.
