Mbappé's Madrid Stint Questioned Over Unfulfilled Expectations – Report

Full Story
A prominent French journalist, Daniel Riolo, has recently hinted at a surprising turn of events concerning superstar Kylian Mbappé's future at Real Madrid. According to reports shared by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X this past Friday, Riolo, speaking on RMC Sport’s After Foot and later delving deeper on Cadena SER’s El Larguero, offered a candid assessment of the French forward's current situation. Riolo, who is widely considered to have close ties with the Mbappé family, suggested a potential departure from the Spanish giants.
"If he does not have the team he wants, it’s possible that he will leave. I think it’s possible. I don’t think he’s happy with everything that’s happening at Real Madrid this season," Riolo stated. He clarified that these comments were more of a sentiment he perceived rather than concrete, verified information. Nevertheless, his remarks have already generated significant buzz across both Spanish and French media outlets.
Despite the speculation, Mbappé's current contract with Real Madrid extends for another two years beyond the ongoing season, officially running until June 2029. Any move before its natural expiration in the summer of 2027 would necessitate either a mutual agreement between the player and the club or a substantial transfer deal.
