Barcelona Eyes Young Belgian Sensation in €10m Deal

In a bid to bolster their youth academy, Barcelona has set its sights on signing 18-year-old Belgian winger Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge. The Catalan giants have already tabled a €10 million offer for the player, who has been on their radar since his impressive performances at the Under-20 World Cup in Qatar. Although Club Brugge has rejected the initial offer, negotiations are ongoing, with Deco and Joao Amaral handling the talks on behalf of Barcelona. Bisiwu has expressed his desire to join the Spanish club, rejecting offers from Premier League teams to fulfill his dream of playing for Barcelona. The young Belgian's current contract with Club Brugge expires next summer, and he has made it clear that he will not be renewing his deal. As a result, Club Brugge is open to letting him leave, but they are keen on securing a significant percentage of any future sale. Barcelona sees Bisiwu as a dynamic addition to their team, with his pace, dribbling prowess, and left-footed ability making him an attractive prospect. The plan is for Bisiwu to join Barcelona's subsidiary side initially, with the potential to be promoted to the first team in the future. This move comes as Barcelona looks to offload Roony Bardghji, who was signed last summer but has struggled to find playing time. With Bisiwu's signing, Barcelona aims to strengthen its youth academy and develop a talented young player for the future.
