Full Story
A devastating incident has led to the death of two four-year-old twin boys in Nigeria. Their mother, who works as a cleaner, reportedly lost them after they consumed bread laced with rat poison, which she had placed to eliminate rodents in her residence.
The heartbreaking news was shared by businesswoman Chioma Ifeanyi-Eze on her Facebook page. Ifeanyi-Eze stated that the mother of the deceased twins is a dedicated cleaner employed by her own mother.
In her social media post, Ifeanyi-Eze recounted the tragic events: "The woman who cleans my mum's house lost her set of 4-year old twin boys. She put rat poison on bread and dropped on the floor in a hidden area. One of the twin found the bread, ate and give his brother. Both, passed."
She further expressed her mother's sorrow, adding, "My mum is so sad." Ifeanyi-Eze also highlighted the profound loss for the cleaner, noting, "The woman is such a dedicated worker. She had 5 kids, 2 gone in one day. Ah! Dear Lord." The unfortunate event has reduced the number of children in the family from five to three.
