BBNaija's Beauty Tukura Advocates PVCs for 2027, Citing 'No Akara' Stance

Beauty Tukura, a former participant in the Big Brother Naija reality television show, has issued a call to Nigerian citizens to acquire their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively prepare for the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Through an online publication, Ms. Tukura articulated her personal aversion to being compelled into the profession of selling akara. She also made it clear that her statement was not meant to show any disrespect towards individuals who earn their livelihood from this particular trade. “I don't know about you but God knows I don't want to sell akara, and honestly this is no disrespect to akara sellers,” she wrote.
She further implored Nigerians to not only obtain their PVCs but also to cast their votes and ensure the protection of those votes during the 2027 electoral process. “Nigerians, get your PVC and get ready to vote and defend those votes come 2027!!!”
