Khloe Kardashian's Pal Khadijah Haqq Seeks Support Amidst Divorce Financial Woes

Khadijah Haqq, a well-known associate of reality TV personality Khloe Kardashian, has reportedly found herself in a challenging financial predicament as her divorce proceedings with former NFL player Bobby McCray unfold. According to a declaration obtained by TMZ, Haqq has formally requested child and spousal support from the court, in addition to assistance with her substantial legal fees.

In her statement, Haqq disclosed that she earned a total of $150,000 from the Hulu reality series “The Girls,” a production overseen by the Kardashian family, receiving $25,000 per episode. She painted a picture of a comfortable lifestyle during her marriage to McCray, where she had no need to worry about household expenses. She detailed how the family enjoyed regular vacations, frequented restaurants, avoided credit card debt, and resided in upscale rented homes.

Furthermore, Haqq indicated that she engaged in relatively little paid work throughout her marriage, dedicating most of her time to caring for their children. She also alleged that McCray is rarely present in California and maintains an inconsistent schedule for spending time with their kids.

Haqq claimed that her financial circumstances have since deteriorated significantly. She now experiences considerable stress over bill payments and has resorted to using credit cards to cover her living costs. Moreover, she has had to borrow money from her relatives and friends to ensure their children can remain in private schools and continue their extracurricular activities.

Her court filing asserts that McCray receives over $18,000 monthly from disability and NFL retirement benefits. She also mentioned having cared for him after an injury sustained during his football career. Haqq is specifically asking the court to grant her $5,000 per month in child support, $2,000 per month in spousal support, and $100,000 to cover her legal expenses. The court has yet to issue a ruling on her submitted requests.
