Osun Guber Polls: Adeleke Takes 19 LGs, Oyebamiji Claims 11

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, representing the Accord Party, has emerged victorious in 19 out of the 30 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state, following Saturday's governorship election. His main contender, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), secured 11 LGAs. Governor Adeleke's camp now awaits the official declaration from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after the collation and announcement of results concluded on Sunday.

In **Boluwaduro LGA**, overseen by Returning Officer Prof. Sola Omotola, the Accord Party received 7,118 votes, while the APC garnered 7,050 votes, and the ADC had 179. Out of 14,662 accredited voters, 14,655 votes were cast, with 14,478 deemed valid.
**Ede South LGA**, with Raji Oluwakemi as Returning Officer, saw the Accord Party secure a significant lead with 26,188 votes. The APC got 6,219 votes, and the ADC recorded 390. From 34,011 accredited voters, 33,950 votes were cast, and 33,210 were valid.
For **Ife North**, under Prof. Tajudeen Opoola, Accord Party polled 13,879 votes against APC's 9,613 and ADC's 333. A total of 24,772 voters were accredited, 24,704 votes cast, and 24,216 valid.

In **Osogbo LGA**, Udueke Maximilian declared a strong showing for the Accord Party with 36,480 votes, compared to APC's 30,474 and ADC's 1,503. From 70,840 accredited voters, 70,785 votes were cast, and 69,307 were valid.
