Abia 2027 Elections: LP Candidate China Anyaso Vows No Room for Rigging

As the 2027 general elections draw near, China Anyaso, the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, has given his word to the people of Abia State that the elections will be free from any form of electoral malpractice. Anyaso made this promise during a stakeholders' meeting, where he represented Governor Alex Otti, assuring that the Labour Party administration is dedicated to ensuring that the elections are conducted in a free, fair, and credible manner. According to Anyaso, Governor Otti has made it clear that anyone planning to rig the elections should first write their will, as there will be no manipulation of election results in Abia State. The candidate also promised that adequate security measures will be put in place to protect voters and their votes, stating that every legitimate vote will count. Anyaso, who has a track record of success in the oil and gas, real estate, and hospitality sectors, also assured the people of Bende that he will not disappoint them if elected. He highlighted his philanthropic activities, including the establishment of a nursery school for the Ndebende community, which he later expanded to include a primary school, providing free education to over 500 children since 2008. On the issue of zoning, Anyaso recalled an agreement reached in 2019, where stakeholders decided that the Bende Federal Constituency seat should rotate between the Bende North and Bende South political blocs after the incumbent completed his tenure. He argued that fairness and equity require the seat to return to the Bende North bloc, just as he supports President Bola Tinubu completing two terms before power rotates to another region. Anyaso urged constituents to remain calm and continue supporting Governor Otti's vision, working towards the victory of Labour Party candidates in the 2027 elections. A constituent, HRH Eze Uwakwe Ukaegbu, confirmed that traditional rulers in Bende Local Government Area had agreed that the Bende Federal Constituency seat should return to Bende North after the completion of the eight-year tenure of the current occupant, which began in 2019.
