Osun State Prepares for Lameco Flyover Bridge Commissioning with Temporary Road Closures

In preparation for the official commissioning of the newly constructed Lameco Flyover Bridge in Osogbo, the Osun State Government has announced a temporary closure of all roads leading to the bridge. This move, as stated in a public notice by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Bashir Bello, is aimed at ensuring a smooth and orderly ceremony. The commissioning, scheduled for Wednesday, will be headlined by Governor Ademola Adeleke and is part of the state's infrastructure development efforts. The government has advised road users to plan their movements accordingly and use alternative routes during the event. Security agencies and traffic management officials will be on ground to manage traffic and maintain public order. The state government appreciates the public's understanding and cooperation as it continues to develop the state's infrastructure. As part of the ceremony, the government will commission landmark projects executed by Governor Ademola Adeleke, with a focus on the five-span Lameco Overhead Bridge.
