NFVCB Directive Delays 'The Night of June 7th' Cinema Premiere

The much-anticipated nationwide cinema release of the film 'The Night of June 7th' has been postponed indefinitely, following a direct instruction issued by the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB). The movie, which was originally slated to hit theatres across Nigeria on August 28, 2026, will now await further regulatory approval.

Nile Entertainment, the film's distributor, and its producers have publicly affirmed their full cooperation with the regulatory body's ongoing review procedures. They have also indicated that a revised release schedule will be announced only after they have obtained the required clearance from the censors.
