Elderly Man, 83, Found in Lagos; Police Appeal for Family Info

The Lagos State Police Command has initiated a public appeal for assistance to help an 83-year-old man reconnect with his relatives. The individual, identified as Mr. Oriowo Gabriel, was discovered by a concerned citizen who then brought him to the Ipaja Division of the Nigeria Police Force. Authorities confirm that Mr. Gabriel is presently in safe custody at the division, receiving appropriate care.

According to a statement released by the Command, police personnel have made several attempts to locate Mr. Gabriel's family. They visited addresses provided by him, but these efforts have, so far, proven unsuccessful, as no one at the given locations could identify or provide information about his loved ones.

In light of this, the Lagos State Police Command is urging members of the public who might know Mr. Oriowo Gabriel or possess any information that could lead to reuniting him with his family or friends to come forward.
