Divorced Nigerian Woman, Chinonso Onuoha, Reveals Joys of Life After Marriage

Chinonso Onuoha, a Nigerian woman residing in Germany, has taken to social media to share her experiences as a divorcee. Onuoha, who had previously spoken out about her allegedly abusive and toxic marriage, has now highlighted the benefits she is enjoying as a single woman. According to her, the common notion that divorced women are bitter and frustrated is far from the truth. In a recent post, she wrote: "Men swear divorced women are bitter and frustrated. I'm sorry to break it to you that life after divorce is actually maravilloso, especially if you have money." Onuoha went on to list the things she is enjoying as a divorcee that she did not experience during her marriage. These include living in a peaceful and quiet home, not having to cook constantly, and being free from criticism and verbal abuse. She also expressed her joy at being able to rest and sleep peacefully, without fear of being accused of cheating or subjected to physical violence. Onuoha further stated that she is now able to enjoy her children, watch TV shows she likes, and live without the constant fear of contracting sexually transmitted infections. She concluded by saying, "Please, don't threaten me with a good time." Onuoha's post has sparked a conversation about the realities of divorce and the importance of prioritizing one's well-being. As she aptly put it, "If divorced women are so miserable and desperate to get their exes back, why do divorced men rush into marriages?"
