WATCH: Terrifying CCTV Footage Captures Moment Massive Landslide Sweeps Away Trucks, Leaving 2 Dead And Many Trapped

International News Desk — A shocking piece of CCTV footage is currently going viral globally after capturing the exact terrifying moment a catastrophic landslide completely engulfed a major infrastructure construction project.
The disaster occurred at a multi-million dollar tunnel project site at Kalladi in the Wayanad region.
The Moment of Impact
The viral footage shows torrential monsoon rains lashing the area before an entire hillside suddenly collapses in a matter of seconds. In the video, a massive mud and debris wave can be seen violently sweeping a heavy tanker truck completely across the road while multiple workers desperately run for their lives.
Emergency disaster management officials have confirmed that at least two people have been killed, six are seriously injured, and intense rescue operations are currently underway to save approximately 10 others who are feared trapped deep beneath the thick mud.
"A Man-Made Disaster?"
Outraged local authorities are already calling the tragedy a "man-made disaster" rather than a natural occurrence. Reports reveal that contractors had been officially ordered in writing by the government weeks ago to clear out massive, unstable piles of excavated dirt, but failed to do so before the heavy rains struck.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has deployed heavy machinery and sniffer dogs to the site in a race against time to pull out survivors.
