Ejiro, a prominent fashion designer whose thriving business suddenly went quiet, has finally broken her silence regarding a harrowing experience that led her family to launch the viral #WhereIsEjiro? campaign last year, sparking widespread public concern. Her relatives had publicly demanded her release from a spiritual organization they accused of isolating her from loved ones. The ministry, however, refuted these claims, asserting that Ejiro was voluntarily dedicating herself to God through their work.

Now, Ejiro has shared her testimony in church on Sunday, July 5, 2026, detailing her deliverance from the spiritual group. She recounted that her entanglement began after a significant birthday celebration, when she received a 'prophetic message' from the group, claiming God intended to use her to 'redeem her family'. Convinced by the message, especially as she had been praying about existing family challenges, she joined the ministry. During her time with them, she was instructed to liquidate all her assets and donate the proceeds to the organization. They allegedly told her that God's plan was to 'strip her of everything before lifting her up'.

Ejiro complied fully, eventually owning nothing and resorting to wearing rags. She revealed that the group systematically eroded her trust in family and friends, even convincing her that her own mother was a witch—a belief she adopted due to the intense manipulation. She further explained that whenever she began to question their directives or regain her independent thought, they would use 'the Holy Spirit' to manipulate her. The group also assigned her a 'handler', whom she initially considered a friend, but who secretly relayed all her thoughts and plans back to the ministry.

When her family and friends publicly voiced their concerns last year, the ministry dispatched her to reassure them she was well and acting on her own volition. However, Ejiro stated that this interaction marked the beginning of her gradual resolve to break away from the group. She credits joining the NSPPD online prayer group as a crucial step, which eventually helped her overcome the manipulations of the spiritual organization. On July 7, 2025, she embarked on a new beginning, and within a year, she claims divine restoration has seen her business as a fashion designer generate an impressive N83 million between March and the present. A video of her testimony is available for viewing.
