A shocking revelation has emerged in the case of Matthew Perry's death, with a former associate of the late actor coming forward to accuse his assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, of questionable behaviour in the aftermath of the tragedy. According to Lisa Calio, who had worked with Perry for nearly three decades, Iwamasa was seen driving one of Perry's cars at 4 a.m. shortly after the actor's passing in 2023. Calio, in a letter submitted to the court ahead of Iwamasa's sentencing, claimed that she received a text from Iwamasa at the time, in which he seemed to be enjoying himself while driving the car from the Hollywood Hills to the Palisades. This incident has raised eyebrows, given that Iwamasa is already facing allegations of acting as a middleman between drug suppliers and Perry, as well as injecting the actor with ketamine, including on the day of his death. Prosecutors have accused Iwamasa of playing a central role in supplying and administering ketamine to Perry, and he has already pleaded guilty to charges linked to the case. Calio has been critical of Iwamasa's conduct, stating that his priority seemed to be maintaining his own lifestyle rather than caring for the actor's well-being. She also alleged that Iwamasa failed to alert those close to Perry despite witnessing medical emergencies, and even went so far as to say, 'Kenny Iwamasa killed my friend.' Furthermore, Calio claimed that Iwamasa later sought to become involved in the Matthew Perry Foundation, a project that she had been working on with the late actor, saying that it was what Perry would have wanted. The sentencing hearing for Iwamasa is expected to take place later today, and it remains to be seen what consequences he will face for his alleged actions.
