Popular Nigerian music artist, Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely recognized as Odumodublvck, has expressed confidence that the truth will ultimately come to light regarding the contentious disagreement he has with fellow rapper Blaqbonez. His comments were made public during a recent broadcast of the In Motion Podcast on YouTube, which aired on Friday. The two musicians, who once shared a close friendship and professional collaborations, are currently entangled in a very public conflict that involves a woman, accusations of harassment and s*xual misconduct, and ongoing legal proceedings. For his part, Blaqbonez has refuted the s*xual abuse claims and dared Odumodublvck to present evidence of these allegations in a court of law.

Discussing the ongoing rift with Blaqbonez, Odumodublvck leveled accusations against his erstwhile friend and musical partner, stating that Blaqbonez has offered contradictory narratives concerning their past relationship. Odumodublvck quoted, "He was lying. He was not consistent. They ask you one question, you say yes. You say no. You say my brain told me that." Furthermore, Odumodublvck challenged Blaqbonez's assertion that they were not friends, highlighting their shared professional history. He elaborated, "Shebi he said we’re not friends. That’s what he said. It’s not consistent. How would you say that we’re not friends? We’re not friends. But we have three songs together. I’ve come for your show."

The hip-hop artist subsequently addressed the core s*xual abuse allegation, which has significantly intensified their dispute. Odumodublvck firmly maintained that Blaqbonez is culpable for the actions he has been accused of. "According to the evidence, he is. He did what he was accused of doing. He did everything," Odumodublvck affirmed, though he chose not to divulge all specific details pertinent to the accusation.

Odumodublvck also brought up a previous incident involving Blaqbonez with law enforcement, where a woman had accused him of cyberstalking, harassment, blackmail, and privacy invasion. In a petition dated 2025, the woman's legal representatives stated that she endured extensive harassment after declining the rapper's romantic overtures. Blaqbonez had previously refuted these claims.

Commenting on the police detention, Odumodublvck cast doubt on Blaqbonez’s version of events, remarking, "Police cannot just detain you for 48 hours and you pay damages." He went on to assert that Blaqbonez initially declared his innocence, claiming false accusation, but subsequently penned an apology and an undertaking while at the police station. Odumodublvck stated, "He put up a statement saying that he has been falsely accused. When he went to the police station and was detained, he put in his apology and undertaking, which he wrote handwritten, that he would delete the statements that exonerate him."

Odumodublvck further alleged that Blaqbonez proceeded to delete these statements upon his return home. He questioned, "When he went back to his house, he deleted the statement. What does that mean? If he did not do it, won’t he say, ‘Very dark man, come oh, they want to bully me’?"

In a separate development, Blaqbonez has continued to deny the s*xual abuse claims and has openly challenged Odumodublvck to substantiate these accusations in a judicial setting. Additionally, in July, Blaqbonez's legal representatives issued a pre-action notice, demanding N2.55 billion in damages, characterizing Odumodublvck's public remarks as defamatory.

Notwithstanding the ongoing conflict, Odumodublvck reiterated his conviction that the full truth would ultimately surface. He articulated, "At the end of the day, when the right time comes, everybody will know the real truth. If somebody cannot even say, use his mouth and say we are friends. If you can even lie about a friendship that you and I had, what won’t you lie about?" He concluded by asserting, "At the right time, justice will prevail."
