A Liberian man residing in the United States caused a major stir by publicly shaming his fiancée before their assembled families, following his discovery of her alleged unfaithfulness. The man, who had been in a long-distance relationship with a woman from his home country, had returned with intentions of marriage, only to reportedly unearth her betrayal.

He meticulously planned a surprise engagement ceremony, and once his fiancée and their relatives were present, he commenced a speech. What began as what appeared to be a heartfelt address quickly shifted as he started exposing private messages between his fiancée and another individual, who was reportedly a married man. He then directly confronted his partner, sharply criticizing her for portraying herself as a virtuous woman who disdained being a 'side chic'.
